About the Conference:
Society for Environmental Sustainability (SES), Lucknow organized an International Conference from 16 to 19 November, 2022 in collaboration with Department of Microbiology, Government College of Arts Science and Commerce, Goa and Department of Microbiology, Ponda Education Society’s, Ravi S. Naik College of Arts & Science, Goa. The main aim was to deliberate on opportunities and challenges related to environmental sustainability and biotechnology in various sectors. The theme of the conference was “Environmental Sustainability and Biotechnology: Opportunities and Challenges”. The aim of the conference was to provide a platform for students, researchers, scientists, technocrats, and innovators, to put their views, inventions and ideas for achieving the goal of environmental sustainability. Scientists and scholars showcased their ideas and research acumen via interactive papers and poster sessions. For boosting the research potential of researchers there was awarded in different categories.

•Biodegradation and bioremediation of pollutants and contaminated sites
•Agricultural biotechnology for sustenance of agro-ecosystems
•Fate of green technologies in waste management and valorisation
•Climate change and its impact on ecosystems and biodiversity
•Disaster risk reduction (DRR) and coastal ecosystems

There were 34 invited speakers from different countries. The conference was a great success around 300 participants from India and several other countries around the globe attended the conference.
